About
LA Dance has been established since 2014.
It is a local dance school concentrating in the areas of Llanelli, Carmarthen and Swansea.
Special requests of other areas are also considered.
Lesley-Ann Evans – Professional Ballroom & Latin Dancer, teacher and Championship adjudicator (UKA Licentiate).
I started dancing at the age of 5 and followed the UKA Medallist system until I started competing on the open circuit at the age of 18.
In 2004 I started competing internationally and represented Ireland for a year.
From 2005 until 2013, I represented Wales and was lucky enough to represent my country in many competitions including European Cup Championships, European Championships and World Championships all over the world.
Some countries I visited are; France, Germany, Denmark, Russia and Australia.
During this time, myself and dance partner were ranked as number 1 in Wales for 5 consecutive years and achieved many dance titles, some of which include:
- Welsh Open Ballroom Champions
- Welsh Border Counties Ballroom Champions
- Gloucestershire Title holders
- Britain's Best title holders
Since retiring from amateur competitions, I have put all my time and effort into teaching. I love to be able to inspire others like I have been inspired and pass the love of dance on.
